As part of our ongoing efforts to assist with education of young people, Rossmin recently hosted Dr. Jeremy Woodard, a Senior Lecturer of Geochemistry and Geological Sciences at UKZN’s College of Agricultural, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and about sixty 3rd year students, to explore the unique geology of the marble delta and get field mapping experience in a working mine.

Rossmin has also recently aided a new Geologist to qualify by providing access to the mine for a period of 12 months to complete his work experience requirement.
